Who Is That Gal?

Went to watch <Step Up 3D> yesterday. It was quite an energetic movie, and the dancing was amazing. Though most of the times we feel like there's nothing new (wasn't there a movie called <Street Dance> in cinema a couple of months ago?), the choreography still managed to affect most of the audiences, making us feel like moving our feet in the cinema as well.

However, I was quite distracted by one little thing that I tried really hard but seemed unable to produce an answer... Who is that girl who played Camille? Her face seemed so familiar, I'm pretty sure I've seen her in other movies before. But which one? I tried, and tried, and tried.... and finally, I knew I could not recall her.

So, my first task when I was back in my house was to check her out in IMDB. Turns out, yes, I've seen her before, in 2 movies to be exact. I was like, "OMG, that's her! Why can't I recall her". Her name is Alyson Stoner, but to me, she will always known to be Sarah Baker, the tomboyish and rebellious daughter of Steve Martin in <Cheaper By The Dozen 1 & 2>.

I loved that movie (singular, because I do not like the sequel that much), but have not re-watched the DVD in quite a while. That's the reason why she did not come to my mind immediately when I saw Camille in <Step UP 3D>. I have no idea she dances that well too. I hope she has a bright future. Come on, we gotta have someone with real talent instead of Miley, Demi or Selena all the time.

Oh yes, by the way, according to IMDB, she's close with Taylor Lautner too, which she co-starred with in <Cheaper By The Dozen 2>. I know this fact will make at least a few ladies jealous.
