Random thoughts after watching "Jeff, Who Lives at Home":

(1) Love the opening quote:
Everyone and everything is interconnected in this universe.
Stay pure of heart and you will see the signs.
Follow the signs, and you will uncover your destiny.

(2) Yes, that was talking about signs, in general and also in specific, which is the movie Signs. That M. Night Shyamalan's movie. Anyone remembers that? I don't, because I never quite like his movie, even The Sixth Sense is vastly overrated to me.

(3) The anagram of kevin is knive. At first I thought "Wow, I never thought of that before", but then immediately after that I realized "there's actually no such word as knive, only knife or knives". There goes the excitement of uncovering something new.

(4) Judy Greer is awesome. In her first scene at the breakfast & in the hotel scene. Why did nobody give her more worthy parts?

(5) So is Susan Sarandon. She used to rock, but since when did they stopped offering her good roles? It's not to say she's not good in this limited role, but she deserves so much more (and no, that multiple small roles in Cloud Atlas don't count).

(6) Not to be a "Monday morning quarterback", but I actually guessed correctly who's Susan Sarandon's secret admirer is, right from the beginning. It always goes that direction. I can't recall movies that have similar plot, but for me to guess it correctly means I must've seen similar plot somewhere else.

(7) Speaking of secret admirer, why is there no secret admirer for me in the office? I can use some excitements in my worklife, LOL.

(8) That Porshe, such a waste.

(9) The ending is a little too neat for me. Everything tied together at the short bridge scene? It feels like the movie is rushing to an end, not to mention the sudden emerge of Kevin (again, I guessed it correctly) and it resolves Jeff's quest for his destiny.

(10) Overall, this is not a bad movie, nor is it a great one. It's just average. But one thing: It really can use a better movie title.
