December, my most favorite month. Presumably all the good movies come out this month for maximum Oscar attention. No more superheroes or White House blown up, no more Dwayne Johnson or Michael Bay. It's also the time when movies like New Year's Eve and The Holiday ascent. Admittedly I love these two movies. Don't judge, everyone has their favorite bad movies, so am I. I have a lot.

I am a Business Analyst by daytime who enjoys crunching numbers, playing with Excel, and analyzing trends from various angles and perspectives. I love the fact that numbers and charts can tell us a great deal about a subject, either confirming our previously unproven suspicions or contradicting our previously false assumptions. I love building structured data to achieve that.

By nighttime and weekends, I transform into a movie enthusiast who loves everything about movies and TV shows. I love using my unique skills to analyze and rate the movies, but not all the time. I believe in the balancing of sense with sensibility. Sometimes not everything can be valued with numbers and charts (brain), but should be appreciated with mind and feeling (heart). I'm both Elinor/Emma Thompson and Marianne/Kate Winslet.

I guess what I'd like to say is that I'm both a clear-minded person yet I retain an acceptable level of compassion. I can see things as they are and prove it with data yet I am also emotionally sensitive.

I don't write as good as professional bloggers, I don't use flowery languages and fancy pictures. I just want to write what's on my mind, using simple vocabulary and occasionally having some fun time. I hope you enjoy my writings.
